How this works
Home Solar Line is a free phone referral line. You call, answer a few questions about your home, and if it's a fit we connect you with an independent solar provider that serves your area. We're not a solar company. We don't employ installers, we don't sell or install equipment, and we don't set prices.
Who it's for
Homeowners in single-family houses or townhouses with a roof that gets full sun or light shade, a power bill over $100 a month, and no solar panels yet. Providers can't help renters, condo or apartment owners, or homes that already have solar.
How we are paid
You don't pay us anything. The companies that take the calls pay us.
Before you sign anything
- Get the total price, the system size and the expected yearly production in writing.
- Ask for the provider's contractor license (if your state requires one) and proof of insurance.
- Compare more than one quote if you can, and don't sign under pressure.

Renting, in a condo, apartment or mobile home, under heavy shade, or already have panels? This line can't help with those, so please don't call.
